Swimming is a great way to stay active as a family and have fun together. Whether you’re looking for fun activities in the water for weekends or school holidays, we have something for all ages.
 

Swimming For All

Swimming is a low-impact way of exercising, meaning it really is for everyone. We have a whole timetable of swim sessions for you to enjoy, including lane swimming or casual sessions. Swim memberships are available too with flexible booking options available to secure your swims.

Aqua Classes

Join us for one of our fantastic fitness classes in the pool, with all the benefits of a standard workout, in the water. Water-based classes are a low-impact way to exercise, making it a safe and enjoyable workout for all levels of fitness.

We have a great selection of pool parties for you: large pool inflatable, large pool floats and small pool parties.

Accessibility at Westhoughton Community Leisure Centre

Every visitor to our centre is important to us and we want to help make your visit as easy as possible. 

At the centre we provide the following facilities to make it accessible to everyone: accessible parking, step free access to the centre, accessible toilet, shower and changing facilities and low / no impact Aqua Aerobics classes. 

We also offer Personal Assistant or Carer passes.
